There is something truly special about the art of dry brushing ceramics. Every brush stroke adds depth, texture and character, bringing a piece to life in a way that feels both creative and rewarding.

These Highland cows were a joy to work on. Dry brushing allows the details of their shaggy coats, expressive faces and rustic charm to emerge layer by layer. It’s a process that requires patience, but seeing the finished piece makes every moment worthwhile.

Ceramics has become more than just a hobby for me-they’re an opportunity to slow down, be creative, and transform a simple piece into something unique. I hope these Highland cows bring a smile to your face as much as they did to mine while painting them.

Just finished these bad boys today! They look ridiculously cool outside the garage! I actually have the molds to whip up more if anyone wants to unleash their inner artist and paint them. I can crank out a few and we can have a painting class! Who's in?
