We are honored to share that Crutch Carries has been named a 2026 BBB Spark Award Finalist.

The BBB Spark Award recognizes businesses built on **character, culture, and community** — values that are at the heart of why Crutch Carries exists.

Crutch Carries was created from a real-life problem: trying to safely carry a drink while using crutches or a walker. What may seem like a small daily task can become frustrating, unsafe, and limiting when both hands are needed for mobility.

Today, we’re celebrating the beard behind the brand.

Joshua Yocum, PT, is the founder of Crutch Carries—a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, physical therapist, inventor, and entrepreneur with more than 22 years of experience helping people regain mobility and independence.

After spending five months on crutches himself, Joshua experienced how difficult it could be to carry something as simple as a drink. That challenge inspired a product—and a mission—to improve life on mobility devices through innovation.

The beard may be memorable, but the mission is what keeps us moving forward. 💙
