Day 2 of the window upcycle. Trying a silver leaf mirror effect. Since it’s hot and I don’t want to use mirror spray paint indoors (too toxic 😳), I’m trying this method. Using silver leaf, patina paints and the patina spray sprinkled over it. This is the back of the window, which won’t be visible. It will either work or be an epic fail 😉

Thought I’d take you along on my journey to repurpose this old vintage window that my sister (thank you Jenny Neill ❤️) was kind enough to find and bring to me. I think it came out of one of the historic Ford Homes in Dearborn, Michigan. It’s going to be a huge project (lots of scraping, sanding and caulking), but I love a challenge 😊 This is the first messy step and I don’t yet know what I’m going to do with it yet, but stay tuned!
