An unexpected update. 💔

As many of you know, Dream Freeze has been our little dream brought to life. As complete beginners, we've been dedicated to learning everything about what it takes to operate a mobile food business safely and legally. We knew this would be no simple task. We take food safety very seriously, and have a huge amount of respect for the hard work that goes into this industry.

For every obstacle we've encountered, we've found a way past it. Unfortunately, we've now reached one that we simply can't overcome this season. As difficult as this decision is, we've chosen to cancel our remaining pop-up events rather than compromise our commitment to doing things the right way.

We are heartbroken to have hit this learning curve, but we're already looking ahead. Our goal is to use the off-season to make sure everything is in place so we can come back next year stronger than ever.

Thank you for supporting our dream and cheering us on. We are not giving up, and we will see you next season. 🤍☁️

We know some of you were hoping to find us serving snowballs this holiday weekend! While we couldn't make it out this time, we're working hard behind the scenes to grow Dream Freeze and remove some of the limitations that come with being a brand-new business. Blue Raspberry was our top-selling flavor at our very first event, and it's coming with us to the Made In Cheboygan Craft Show on July 25th & 26th!! 🍧

What a weekend. 🩷

We are still trying to process the outpouring of support we experienced for our first event.

For nearly 6 months we have poured our hearts into this. A huge thank you to our friends and family who helped with childcare, emergency ice runs, and cheered us on every step of the way. (And for taking this super cute photo for us! 🥰)

And to our community… thank you.

We knew that WE believed in our snowballs, but we were absolutely floored by your response. We had guests say that ours was the best shaved ice they've ever had. We met guests who crossed county lines excited to try us, and received so many kind words and wishes for success that meant more than you know.

Thank you, Indian River. We knew you wouldn't let us down, but we sure didn't expect you to raise us up so high.
