We’re proud to introduce Jeremy Sanders as part of the Wood’s Forcible Entry cadre!

Jeremy has dedicated 24 years to the fire service in Edmond, Oklahoma, bringing decades of experience, leadership, and a commitment to making the fire service better from the inside out.

In 2020, Jeremy created Crew 1st Culture and the Crew 1st Culture Podcast, built around a simple but powerful mission: the pursuit of daily personal growth. That mindset has helped Jeremy continue to grow not only as a firefighter and officer, but also as a husband and father.

When he’s not serving, training, or sharing his message, Jeremy lives on a small farm outside Tulsa with his wife, Erika, and their family of eight kids.

Jeremy brings experience, perspective, and a people-first mentality to the Wood’s cadre, and we’re proud to have him on the team.

🚨 MEET THE WOOD’S FORCIBLE ENTRY CADRE: CHIEF BRIAN BRUSH 🚨

Brian brings 26 years of fire service experience to the team, with a career spanning rural communities and metropolitan departments. He currently serves as Chief of Training for the Midwest City Fire Department in Oklahoma, where he focuses on firefighter education, operational readiness, and developing the next generation of firefighters.

His career has also included time with the Edmond Fire Department (OK) and West Metro Fire Rescue (CO), giving him a broad range of experience and perspective on fireground operations.

Beyond the firehouse, Brian is a national fire service instructor, traveling across the country to share his knowledge and passion for the job. He is also a member of the Firefighter Rescue Survey, helping collect and share real-world rescue data that can improve fireground tactics and decision-making.

Experience matters. Data matters. Training matters. And we’re fortunate to have Brian bringing all three to the Wood’s cadre.

🔥 Derby City Fire Conference Recap 🔥

Louisville showed up ready to WORK. From the first rep to the last, the Wood’s Forcible Entry door and window bar props were put through their paces during hands-on evolutions at Derby City. Firefighters got quality, realistic reps—forcing doors, defeating window bars, refining technique, and building confidence through repetition.

That’s exactly why we build what we build. Training props made to be used, abused, reset, and hit again. 👊

A huge thank you to the Derby City Fire Conference, the instructors, and every firefighter who trained with us and stopped by the Wood’s booth throughout the conference.
