Sending these two love and kisses quilts off to .campion this week.
Thank you for all who added their blocks. Suzanne and I really enjoy the wonderful transatlantic community quilt community! The quilts will be on display at before being handed to for her project that donates quilts each year to different, great charity organizations.

A special thanks to for letting us use their fab Love and kisses pattern that is available in their brilliant book “Quilting with Liberty fabrics”.

I hope you’re having a relaxing Memorial Day / Bank Holiday weekend. 💗

My online store will be closed from today until September. My husband is having heart surgery in NYC next week and we’ll be there while he recovers. It has been a bit of a shock as he’s very fit and healthy but we feel lucky to have discovered the issue and be able to get it sorted. He’s in good hands and we have great support.

Thank you for your understanding and I’ll put stock back up in the fall and have some in person opening days in the shop.

In the meantime I’ll share a few pretty things I see such as this gorgeous flower that has brightened up my window sill all week. 🌸

QuiltCon26 is a wrap!

The best part as always is the people. Thank you to everyone who came by and said hello, brought treats etc! I’m always too distracted to get photos so please share any with me you took.

Thanks to all of the people who jumped in (or were thrown in!) to help on the stand . I couldn’t do it without you! Special thanks to .campion for all of her beautiful samples and help as well as being my constant partner in crime:) .peaches.ny for everything from tech help, keeping me caffeinated and even providing alarm calls!

I also loved seeing friends from all parts of the world and different parts of my life! When else can you can see an Austin friend, a UK friend and an Ithaca friend on the same day? Only at 💜

Yes! It’s that time again! I’m busy cutting, folding, kitting and packing to load the van tomorrow!
Today is my last day for orders until Feb 25th. If you’ve already placed one it’ll be shipped tomorrow before I leave. If you have templates on pre order they will be shipping from Raleigh.

Thanks to all who’ve helped me get ready! Special shout out to my hubbie for doing everything on the home front while I’m buried under fabric plus helping with logistics, poles, pricing etc. It’s a mammoth task and I appreciate the help more than you know!

I can’t wait to see you all next week especially .campion who is traveling all the way from England to be there. Come and say hello to us both on stand #436

I finished a simple quilt top in the new Bedford Park fabrics presented by as part of the

Swipe ➡️to see close ups of the fabrics and the gorgeous colours that were sent to coordinate.

I love the beautiful recoloring and new scale of some of my favorite Morris prints in this collection so wanted a quilt pattern that used big sections of the prints to show them off.
I made it up as I went along but will be sharing it at QuiltCon as it’s a easy way to showcase your favorite prints and you can make it in an afternoon!

I was able to enjoy the prints as I was sewing and didn’t have to stress about accuracy.

Bedford park is available now and I’d recommend it to brighten up a January day 💓

Thank you to for a ribbon at the recent show!

This quilt won first place in the people’s choice category 💙

It is called Art Nouveau and was designed and made
(I contributed a little EPP:) by .campion and custom quilted by

The inspiration came from a love of the Ianthe print which Suzanne fussy cut and worked out a pattern to make every star different from one design! It hangs in my studio but you may have seen it at QuiltCon in the past. Swipe to see her on a field trip to on one of our adventures.

Many of you may know it from the stitch along a few years ago and we have loved seeing your versions.

The pattern is still available from .campion directly.

Suze and I have joint custody of her now and she is shining bright with her new ribbon 💙
