I’m working on a historical art map of Peoples of Northern Britain, c. 150 AD, based on Ptolemy’s tribal geography, with a few recognizable ancient landmarks added for orientation.
This is not meant to be a modern road map or a perfect archaeological survey — it’s a visual teaching piece. That said, I want the locations as accurate as possible before I finalize it.
If you see something that needs correcting, please tell me what should move, where it should move, and why. Sources or map references are especially welcome.
Current added landmarks include:
Old Kilpatrick
Dumbarton Rock
Loch Lomond
Burghead Pictish Fort
Sueno’s Stone
Antonine Wall
Hadrian’s Wall
Let’s see what survives the historical shark tank. 😆
