Yarn haul from this past week on our trip to North Carolina from Wayward Fiber Arts. 🙌 I just LOVE these colors. The luxurious Odyssey II in Twisted Wiles colorway (first picture in purples, greens, and in betweens) is my favorite one, and I can't wait to wind these up and cast on! 😍 The first and last pics each have a designated project, and the middle pic will be for a sweater or cardigan (I have 3 more skeins at home from a prior trip). Darn, I'll need to go through patterns again. 🤪

Last month I finished my by !

It's my second sweater ever knit, and I'm wearing it again today on this blustery and snowy April day in NH. 😅 I'm just glad I got another chance to wear it (at least) once more this season.

Started last night and finished this morning! I filled this cable knit pumpkin with yarn scraps (which I keep in a Cafe Bustelo container of course 😂). I've made so many of these lil pumpkins over the years!

The cutest candy corn I ever did see! 😍 A year in the making, I finally finished the Candy Corn Dog Sweater I started knitting for Luna last October! I made a few adjustments to the sizing since she has a unique body shape starting with the third size and ending at the second size at the tail end. I love Luna, and she clearly tolerates me. 😂🤣 But really, she is the goodest girl. 🥰

I finished my by over the weekend! Can you believe I dyed the yarn myself using Concord grapes from my backyard (pictured here) and turmeric? I was set on using this yarn for this project, which is sport weight rather than DK per the pattern (sorry for not following directions, Chantal 😅), so I went up a size from S to M and added 2 lace repeats at the bottom to adjust for the difference in gauge. I absolutely LOVE how the lace is blocked out and the overall fit and feel with ~4" positive ease. This was a great beginner-friendly pattern to try for my second adult garment after doing a test knit of the by earlier this year. I also can't believe how fast I knit this one - less than 2 months from start to finish (that's impressive for me 😂).
