Yesterday we got to celebrate our miracle girl’s 11th birthday. Our granddaughter Emmalynn who was born with only one working kidney and extremely high blood pressure and the doctors couldn’t get it regulated spent her first month of life on life support. The doctors unsure if she would recover because everything they tried wasn’t working. On life support just waiting on the unknown Oh but God showed up and just as quickly as she became dearly sick she became well. But then just a few months later was diagnosed with stage 3 liver cancer. Here we was again watching this precious little girl on the fight for her life. There’s was not a spot on her liver that was not covered in cancer. So for over the 6 months she began chemotherapy at St Jude. But after her chemotherapy had ended they needed to put her on the transplant list for a new liver. They had only a two week span to find her a new liver and if you’re not familiar how long it can take to find a new organ it can take months even up to years. But once again God showed up and 3 days after being put on the transplant list she had a new liver found. Jesus rose in 3 days and in 3 days we had the very thing that was going to raise up our already miracle girl from her death bed. The day after surgery she wanted up from that crib in St Louis Children’s Hospital to play. Fast forward today she’s doing absolutely amazing. She goes for her yearly check up with her transplant doctors August 4th. She’s funny, she’s so loving and tender hearted. Shes loves, music, she loves going to church, loves the water, and playing Roblox. Shes such a huge blessing to our family and I have to also brag on her momma Shawna Marie Parson for taking such good care of her all these years. She truly puts the needs of Emmalynn first. Watching her yesterday reminded me of all she’s had to endure and the battles she’s had to face. Yet, I look at her at the amazing testimony this little girl is going to have. She’s proof that God worked absolute miracle after miracle. Happy 11th Birthday Emmalynn! Nana loves you as big as heaven!

I can’t begin to thank the ladies who reached out to me when I posted this a couple of weeks ago. What a blessing to know there is so many people willing to help. Trust me it does more than you even realize. If you have clothing, shoes, purses or any type of accessories that you would normally either stack away in storage shed, your garage hopefully one day it will make it to a thrift store. Let me be the one to come get it and take it off your hands. I lost my job a few months ago and I’m trying my hand at selling good condition clothing on platforms online to make up for the loss of income. God is already blessing me with to make up some of that income I lost. I’m hoping one day I can open a thrift store that’s absolutely affordable for anyone and help people in our community that is in desperate need of clothing and shoes at no cost. I’ve been a single mom trying to buy clothes for my kids and it was a constant struggle. It won’t be the high prices you see at America’s Thrift Store or Goodwill. It makes me almost mad to see the high prices they put on stuff even that’s stained and worn just because it’s got a named brand tag doesn’t make that Nike shirt with holes and stains worth $20. After losing my job a few months ago I was looking to make up for the income my family lost. Little did I know that I would find myself selling clothing I no longer wear or can wear on several platforms. Then I started hitting thrift stores, yard sales and some stuff even given to me to resale. Something I already loved doing thrift store and yard sale shopping! It’s starting to pick up and hopefully this time next year I will completely be able to make even more than I lost. God is so good, and He’s guided me every step of the way. Each package I ship gets prayed over, each package gets a thank you note and the very scripture that has carried me through some of the roughed storms of my life, Isaiah 40:31. So follow me any my journey because it all is “By His Grace!”
