We absolutely ❤️ this time of year at Cackleberry Pines Tree Farm!

The trees are starting to push their fresh new growth, and the fields are turning that bright, vibrant green that only spring can bring. There’s just something special about the smell of the pines as you brush past them while walking the rows or mowing the fields. 🌲✨

It’s one of those simple farm moments that never gets old.

Mother Nature really said, “keep ‘em guessing” over this past week 🌈🌦️

She started off sweet with a picture-perfect rainbow like something out of a postcard… and then followed it up with a surprise late spring freeze (okay, how rude), leaving some of our trees looking like they definitely weren’t dressed for the occasion.

They might be a little confused, but they’re resilient—and honestly, still pretty photogenic. Stick with us as they bounce back from this weather plot twist! As we say, just a typical Ohio spring day!

We took full advantage of this gorgeous weather—because baby trees unfortunately don’t plant themselves! 😄🌲

Our crew got one of the new fields over half planted and mulched, which means hundreds of future Christmas trees are officially in the ground (and probably already plotting to grow taller than us). 🌱

Hard work + sunshine = a pretty great day on the tree farm!

When it's too wet to plant or mow, then it's time to bust out the Ghostbusters like proton back pack sprayer to focus a high powered stream of horticultural oil at the bugs. I say, be gone Spider Mites, be gone!!

The new babies have arrived and the family is busy planting, mulching and taking advantage of the beautiful weekend weather!! Only 700 left to go 🤣

Last day open for the season. Open from 1:30 to 3:30 reservations are still available for today. Check out the link in the comments section below. Our ucut fields are closed for the season but we still have some 6 to 8 foot precut Fraser and Canaan available.

We still have a few of our custom decorated wreaths available as well as some porch pots, our homemade soy candles and homemade kids ornaments.

We had a great season! Our regular hours are over and fields closed but we have appointments available Wed late afternoon and Saturday 1:30 to 3:30. We have about 20 pre cut Fraser firs left, a handful of decorated wreaths , porch pots, and candles. $20 off trees, and $5 off wreaths and pots. Candles are 2 for $22.
