Letās talk dahlias. šø
My favorite season of the year. My pride, my happiness, and honestly, the reason The Butcherās Wife Floral Co. exists in the first place.
What started as growing dahlias at our little farm in Greenfield Township has grown into something I never could have imagined ā and now weāre officially stepping into our flower-farmer-florist era.
And the dahlias are ready to work. š
Dahlia buckets are now available!
Buckets are always first reserved, first served, and if you have a specific color palette in mind, reserving your DIY bucket early is the best way to make sure we can build something that fits your vision.
Thereās also a little secret to getting the best price:
Reserve your bucket before your flowers make their trip to the flower shop.
Dahlia stems that are harvested, brought back to Jermyn, tediously inspected, cleaned, processed, and stored for retail will be priced at our normal retail rate.
So if you want a bucket, setting your pickup date and time ahead of all that work is the most economical way to snag one. Less processing for me, better price for you. Everybody wins. š
Calling all local florists!
I currently have 3 spots available for standing weekly dahlia bucket delivery.
If youāre a local florist looking for gorgeous, locally grown dahlias for your shop, reach out and letās talk.
I genuinely want to support other small, local businesses. There is more than enough beauty to go around, and I want all of us to succeed ā while giving our customers the chance to enjoy flowers grown right here in NEPA.
Dahlia Season Subscriptions šø
Yes, you can have dahlias show up at your door all season long.
Fresh bouquets or arrangements delivered weekly or biweekly throughout dahlia season. It also makes one heck of a gift for the flower lover who has everything.
And finally, a note to my fellow flower farmers:
Please donāt ever hesitate to reach out with your availability lists. If you have something growing that youāre looking to move, send it my way! Iām always happy to purchase locally, and Iām also more than happy to pass your lists along to other florists.
We grow together, we support each other, and we keep local flow
