I have really sad news. The ceiling at my shop has flooded again (and this time I wasn’t there to catch it before it got really bad), and I lost a lot.

I promised myself after the last one that if it happened again, I would have to move out. There’s some unknown problem causing this, and I have absolutely no way to know if/when it will happen again 😞

So it is with deep sadness I tell you that all future shopping dates are canceled. As of now, I do not know where/when I’ll open next. I will continue to do events and likely will start regularly selling on Instagram. A future location is probably in the cards, but I’m not going to rush it.

Our clearance sale was a huge success and we are SO grateful because you all sure showed up! THANK YOU to the very best customers - we couldn’t do any of this without you ♥️♥️♥️

We had to share this photo of a customer’s very handsome cat enjoying his new chair that she took home from the shop this weekend! I’d say it found its best new home! 😻

THIS WEEKEND!!

We have an enormous amount of sale inventory (think most everything below $10! Tons $5 and under!) that we will have under a tent right outside of the shop! Inside there will be MORE sales plus lots of “new” antiques and vintage as well!

Can’t wait to see you! 😊

(We will not be running credit cards outside of the shop for small clearance purchases, we will have Venmo but cash is very much appreciated.)

Work has begun on clearance sale inventory! Weather permitting, on our next store open June 6th/7th, we’ll have tables set up right outside the shop with markdowns. 🏷️

The sale items will be a combination of items that haven’t sold, items that don’t quite go with our style, and items that need a little work that we don’t have time for!

We’ll finally be back home and open on the first weekend of June and WE CAN’T WAIT!

We’ll be having our first ever huge SALE, which basically means I’ll be loading up tables outside of the shop (and marking down a few things inside too) with bargains ✨

Will there be new finds too? OF COURSE!

Saturday the 6th is also Joliet’s famous Star Wars Day so it will be a really fun day to be downtown. Plus we have a finished brand new city square! 🌳

I was thrilled to be a part of the very first “Thrift Lab” event at MSI Chicago last night. They knocked it out of the park and I met so many incredible people!

For those of you in downtown Joliet today - enjoy the long awaited opening of the city square and all the festivities!!

For those in Chicago… see you soon! I’ll be in Evanston at Palmhouse for the next 3 days!

If you are going to be near Chicago this weekend- I’ve got events for you!!

Thursday April 29th is Thrift Lab at the Museum of Science & industry! I’ll be vending there with classic, staple wardrobe pieces in only natural fibers that you’ll wear for years and years! Plus a table of home goods, because who am I without home goods?!?!

Friday - Sunday is the 2nd Annual Macabre Spring Weekend at Palmhouse in Evanston. This is a FABULOUS event (my very favorite event of 2025!) because it features an incredible group of women owned small businesses. Everyone is highly skilled in their field, and a bit unusual in the BEST way. Makers, vintage/antiques, tattoo artists (yes you can get tattooed at the event!), readers, food, etc etc. it’s inclusive, beautiful, and has the best energy. I’ll be bringing three tables PACKED with all my best moody antiques. I’ve been collecting all year for this one!
