Here's the last round of introductions for the 2026 - 2027 GLR AMTAS Officers! Today, meet Webmaster Thalia Trump and DEIAJ Advocate Rowan Rodriguez, as well as the Student Advisor, Dana Casteel.
Thalia Trump is enrolled at Cleveland State University for music therapy and in her final stretch of undergrad. She is currently completing her music therapy internship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. While at CSU, she was involved in their music therapy student group. Her main instruments are voice and guitar, but she also enjoys playing piano and ukulele! She also worked in the music therapy lending library and helped run the CSU music therapy Instagram for the past two years. Outside of music therapy, Thalia loves anything post-production/editing-related (video or photo editing), gaming, spending time with her friends, playing Dungeons & Dragons, writing, and traveling.
Rowan Rodriguez is entering his junior year at Eastern Michigan University for his undergraduate music therapy degree and disability studies minor. He has been involved with Eastern Music Therapy Student Association for the last 2 years and just finished his term as one of the members at large for the org. He’s also an active member of EMU’s Kappa Kappa Psi honorary band fraternity, currently serving as the Vice President for Membership. He’s also the current Uniform Manager AND Music Librarian for the EMU Marching Band. His primary instrument is the flute. But has dabbled in guitar, piano, trombone, and euphonium. Outside of School, Rowan enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, painting, working out, especially running, and spending quality time with friends.
Dana Casteel (she/her) received her Bachelor’s in Music Therapy, with a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, from Cleveland State University in 2023 and completed her internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Western Psychiatric Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She previously served on the GLR-AMTAS Executive Board throughout her undergraduate education in the roles of Treasurer, Vice-President, and President and is thrilled to be serving as the Student Advisor!
