Willow Bee Honey Co Offering products from the bee hive. It is my hope to share with the community the amazing hobby of beekeeping.

Honeybees do some pretty amazing things that I myself did not know until I took and Intro to Beekeeping class in November 2019. I hope to raise awareness to the importance that honey bees and other pollinators play in our everchanging world.

To all of our loyal honey customers Willow Bee Honey Co. is just weeks away from bottling 2025 honey!!!🐝🐝🐝 After 2 days of rain I went for a walk this morning around the property and checked on the hives. Enjoy the pictures!!! I will be posting soon when the honey is bottled and ready!!🌸🌼🌻

Busy day with the bees. It is swarm season and today I found that my largest hive was preparing to swarm with a lot of queen cells in place even though they had 3 deep boxes. 4 hours later I have made 3 hives from the large hive after I found the queen and contained her. I checked all the other hives to confirm they were not preparing to swarm. So i started the day with 7 hives and now have 9. I will be checking the new hives next week to make sure they are doing okay. Top pictures are the before pictures and bottom pictures are after all the rearranging😁!!

Well I feel like spring is finally here!! I’m seeing nectar being brought in by the bees and the dandelions are everywhere!!! The bees were very calm today despite the wind. I have put the first honey super on my largest colony of bees out back, seems a little early but they filled their 3rd deep hive box with nectar that was added March 28th. I’m excited to see what the season brings. The bees are the best!!🩷🐝🌷🐝🩷
