La Mexxicana is my new project, I have almost three years that I moved here from Mexico, and I feel that I miss my colors, my handcraft, thing that you can find in Mexico in many places, and decided to show the handcraft we make in Mexico! I’ve always loved handbags, since I was a teen, but always have had problems to find the best fit for me, this is why I decided to make my own handbags, with a

lot of colors, handwoven, handmade,many sizes and styles! I work with the “cooperativas” in Mexico, which is a group of weavers that make the handbags, and I design the styles and choose the color pattern. Our bags are made with plastic straw, very strong and very flexible, and with every purchase we support the local communities in the Southwest of Mexico.
