Do you abide by the fashion “rule” of don’t wear white after Labor Day? I obviously don’t, because DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO. Ha. I just pair white with darker colors later in the season, so it doesn’t feel as summery.
Grabbed a quick mirror selfie to show an example. Fun fact, I’m not the original owner of anything I’m wearing here, except the shoes. The rest is vintage or preloved.
It’s a day ending in Y, so I’m carrying one of my vintage Coach bags. The insane quality of the glove-tanned leather on these vintage bags has ruined me from carrying other purses. I didn’t feel like wearing the scarf around my neck, so I tied it to the bag for color & pattern.
Not trying to set any fashion runways on fire here, just trying to put together cute, comfortable daily-driver outfits for myself that are interesting, good quality and more sustainable than buying everything new.
What do you think? Do you want to see more of my real-life outfits that incorporate vintage and preloved pieces?
