In this view we demonstrate the skijigg at 3 mph…these jiggers can be trolled at 5-6 knots and the action really triggers strikes with high speed ocean trolling

Here we demonstrate a port and starboard Skijigg trolling at slow speeds….each of these jiggers are running two colors of lead line behind about 50’ of braided line… picked up 4 salmon….power jigging like this is very effective with stick baits and other full body lures

It’s that time of year when we are all thinking about our opening day strategy. It’s when I start thinking about which colors will dominate my spread.For the past couple weeks I have been building a pattern with Dan Simpson that he and Capt Bob Wyatt developed last year. I’ll soon post the streamer and the pattern and add it to my website. But this is what captures my attention…light is the most important variable as you choose the best lure or streamer …..and how this streamer is most effective is due to seven different light manipulating components like Flashabou Predator Holo Moon… I never heard of this flash before and it is awesome….a few years back many tyers started adding more synthetic flash to their patterns and it has proven to produce….just a couple weeks to go!

Here is a dozen Earl of Sandwich that Dave C picked up today…the Tan feather is the original Earl of Sandwich designed and proven with Ozzie…the darker feather is what we refer to as the Dark Earl that Ozzie and I had a few…I’m running out of the Tan and haven’t matched the dye yet so I’m mixing dark in on orders…a few years ago I broke off a big salmon right at the net on the Dark Earl fishing in Sandwich Bay

PRICE DECREASE ON STREAMERS

After a customer pointed out it’s tough to swallow $10 for a golden pheasant crest streamer I reviewed my pricing and agree I was pushing it…I’ve lowered prices on Golden Pheasant Patterns and regular Tandems by a $1 each…not a lot but more consistent and back to 2021 pricing

So #2 is $8.95. #4 is $7.95 and #6 is $6.95
