Home from Oʻahu… and there was NO time for rest! 😂

My first priority was picking up my pups from their amazing sitter, Kelley. ❤️🐾

I honestly couldn’t have made the Made in Hawaiʻi Festival happen without knowing my two babies were safe, loved and well cared for.

With one of them being blind and needing a little extra care, finding the right person to watch them was so important to me.

Mahalo nui loa, Kelley! You gave me the greatest gift—being able to focus on the festival without worrying about my pups. 🌺❤️

And judging by this reunion… they missed me too! 😂🐾🥹

Now THAT is the welcome-home I needed. ❤️

Festival over. Mom duty resumes. 🐾❤️.

One of the best parts of this crazy Made in Hawaiʻi Festival adventure had nothing to do with selling cards. ❤️

As a solo wahine small-business owner flying from Maui to Oʻahu, getting hundreds of pounds of product around was a logistical adventure! 📦😂

Then I met Kua.

He helped me load and unload my boxes, waited while I handled FedEx, brought everything up to my 16th-floor condo, and then came back the next day to take me—and my boxes—to the airport.

I asked if I could hire him for the next day… and thankfully he said YES! 🙌

I tipped him well for his time, patience and muscles, but honestly, my gratitude goes way beyond the tip.

Sometimes running a small business means relying on the kindness of strangers who become friends along the way.

Mahalo nui loa, Kua. You were a lifesaver! 🌺❤️📦

Talk about a pretty AMAZING way to make my first sale of the Made in Hawaiʻi Festival! 🥹🌺🃏

Congresswoman Jill Tokuda stopped by the Maui Chamber of Commerce section to say hi and take some photos with the group—and then she spotted my cards! 👀

She came over, checked them out, and picked up a Spam Musubi deck! 🍙😂

She was SO kind and genuinely interested in my cards, and I was thrilled to have her be my very first customer of the festival!

Sometimes you just never know who is going to walk by your booth… 🤙

Day 1 started with a Spam Musubi sale. I’d say that’s a pretty good sign! 😂🍙🃏

I’m excited… I’m nervous… and I know these next 4 days are going to be LONG! 😂

When I land, I’m meeting Isabella, the awesome young lady from Honolulu I hired to help me at the festival. I’m SO excited to finally meet her and have her join the No Can Gamble crew! 🃏❤️

So much work has gone into getting here. Now it’s time to take a deep breath, enjoy the ride, and see what happens!
