I’m definitely the second type — I love a good rehab plant 🌱

It’s important to know that most cosmetic leaf damage is not an indicator of poor plant health. Even plants growing in their native environments under optimal conditions experience torn leaves, blemishes, and minor damage from weather, insects, and normal growth patterns.

What truly matters is the plant’s root health and growth activity. As long as the roots are healthy and the plant is actively growing (or capable of new growth), cosmetic damage will not negatively affect the plant’s long-term health. New leaves typically emerge healthy once the plant is established in a stable environment.
