Last month, we lost a dear friend to the Wood's Tree Farm. Jim Millane, a family friend and Iowa farmer graciously lent us a hand to plant Christmas trees when we were just starting out and he was 80 years old! We wish the Millane, Mercurio, and Licitra families comfort during this difficult time. Jim will be missed.

Happy Groundhog Day! Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today so we have 6 more weeks of winter. On the other hand, it means that EVENTUALLY we will get warmer weather!

In the meantime, get yourself a warm drink, put on your favorite sweatshirt, and warm up with a good book. Jeff just picked up a book he first read 25 years ago. Randy Alcorn's "The Treasure Principle. Discovering the Secret of Joyful Giving."
