We’re a week away from July Mid Mod Vintage Clothing Market. Join us for our third vintage clothing market held Saturday, July 20th. We’ll have a variety of vintage and upcycled clothing along with vintage jewelry, shoes, and other fine accessories.

Let’s dive in the look 2 from ! This is probably the style that is the most “me” and you can guarantee you’ll catch me wearing.​​​​​​​​​
I’m in love with the hourglass shape that it gives, so Flirty and Fun!

Breaking down the process:
The top started as a suede, long sleeve button up. I took off the sleeves and cropped the length. I then added ruffles using two floral/paisley vintage skirts (absolutely swooning over these patterns 😍). The bust ruffles were created by first attaching the fabric to shoulder pads to give some extra volume.

The shorts started as men’s jeans that I took in at the waist and cut to about a 3” inseam. I added to same suede and patterened fabrics to tie the piece together and finished with beading details on the front.

Top it off with a coordinating bow! and she’s ready for dinner on a patio with the girlies!

Who’s excited for Fleurish: Sustainable Fashion Event(& Ijams fundraiser)??!! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️​​​​​​​​​
I was a little nervous about creating a cohesive collection and staying in the parameters of the event calling for the materials used to be free or thrifted. Luckily, I had no idea how much material and items I had saved over the years! And your girl definitely has a type, pretty much everything I had saved could be mixed and matched in some way.

I’m super excited to show my version of “FUNK”! With 90% of the materials from fabric I already had and items that would have been thrown away, paired with a few newly thrifted pieces. And even more excited about collaborating with all of the talented designers, stylists, MUAs, and models!

Thank you to the Fleurish team for putting this event together, that not only puts a spotlight on our local creatives, but also shows the importance of sustainability.

As a new to corporate life (part time 😜) girly, I did not realize the flex that cubicle decorating is….
Anyway, here’s some spring things I’m adding to my workspace this week!
*The wreath was from for $5!!! I added some floral and ribbon I already had to make it extra cute!
