People keep asking why I talk about cliques, politics, and toxic culture.

Because I've watched too many great athletes feel like they weren't enough.

Enough.

The future of this sport isn't exclusivity.

It's community.

It's opportunity.

It's athletes first.

Welcome to the Ultimate Athlete Era.

How many can you count?

Let's just say Auntie has been a little busy.

A special project.
A big summer event.
A lot of late nights.

This is only one room.

Drop your guess below. How many bo do you think you're looking at?

I'm taking the stage at Iron Sharpens Iron.
📍 July 24–26 | Ironclad Martial Arts | Wilmington, MA (Greater Boston)

This isn't another seminar where you leave fired up and go home with nothing to run.

This room is for school owners who are done guessing.

Done hoping the numbers fix themselves.
Done carrying the whole business on their back.
Done mistaking hustle for structure.

I'm bringing everything I've got on The Ultimate Athlete Collective

Iron sharpens iron for a reason.

You don't rise in isolation. You rise in the room.

Today, Ryker became a third-generation black belt.

Not because it was expected.
Not because it was handed to him.
And not because he comes from a martial arts family.

He earned it.

The photos in this reel tell a story of the people who loved him, supported him, and cheered him on, but every class, every test, every tournament, every early morning, every hard day, and every moment he wanted to quit... that was his choice.

As proud as I am of our family's martial arts legacy, this black belt isn't mine.
It isn't Nana's.
It isn't Papa's.
It isn't Aunt Barb's.

It's Ryker's.

He wrote his own story.

Today, we celebrate a third-generation black belt, but even more importantly, we celebrate the young man who had the discipline, character, and determination to earn it for himself.

And I couldn't be more proud.

Some people only see the black belt.

I see the people who stayed.

Coach Cameron was there when Ryker tied on a white belt for the very first time.

Years later, through growth, mistakes, victories, setbacks, and thousands of hours on the mat, he was there again when Ryker tied on a black belt.

That's what makes martial arts special.

The belt is earned by the athlete, but the journey is built by the people who show up year after year and never stop believing in them.

Full circle.

From white belt to black belt.

Every athlete is ultimate.

We don’t pick favorites.
We build people.

While everyone else is focused on wins, rankings, and trophies…
I’m focused on who you become after the game is over and the tournaments end.

Because eventually the performances stop.
And when they do, confidence, leadership, identity, and purpose matter more than medals ever will.

That’s what the Ultimate Athlete Collective is really about.

Every athlete has a story.
And every athlete matters.

05/26/2026

One day the competition ends.

The rankings fade.
The medals get packed away.
The crowd moves on to the next athlete.

And eventually every competitor has to answer the same question:

Who are you beyond the sport?

That’s one of the foundations of UAC.

Not just building athletes who know how to perform under pressure…
but helping people build confidence, identity, leadership, creativity, and purpose long after the competition floor is gone.

Because the best athletes were never just competitors.

They were always becoming something bigger.

Write your own story.

05/23/2026

Every athlete has a story.

Some are fighting to prove themselves.
Some are rebuilding confidence.
Some are searching for belonging.
Some just need one place where they feel understood.

That’s what UAC is becoming.

Not just a team.
Not just competition.
A movement built around athletes learning who they are both on and off the floor.

The weapons, the training, the pressure, the performances…
they’re only part of the story.

The athlete behind them is what matters most.
