Our candles are handcrafted in the Smoky Mountains by craftsmen with many years of candle making expertise. The smell of an Apple Pie baking in the oven, Cotton Candy at the Fair, a freshly peeled Orange, Honeysuckle in the Spring, or clean fresh mountain air all bring back memories, generate feelings, and create mood. At the Candle Cottage we are in the candle business, but we know that the candle is just the vehicle to get you there. Our more than 30 years of candle making expertise and experienced candle making experts utilize premium waxes, fragrance oils, and all natural lead-free wicks to produce an extensive line of highly scented, long burning candles. All of our candles are handcrafted in the USA in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg, TN. We offer a variety of fragrances including Food, Floral, and Nature Scents. These are available in authentic “Golden Harvest” country canning jars with a full 15 ounces of wax and an average burn time of 75 – 80 hours, our medium sized traditional “Home Decor” apothecary glass jar candles with 16 ounces of wax and an average burn time of 80 – 85 hours, and our Large apothecary jars which hold 26 ounces of wax and burn an average of 110-120 hours. We also offer our Gel Fruit Candles which are unique fruit-scented clear wax candles, highlighted with very realistic fruit inclusions. Our candles are available at many retail locations and at our website at www.CandleCottage.com. We also offer a phenomenal fundraising program which makes it easy for your group or organization to generate funds from the sale of our high quality candles.
