We had a great time at Fatheads welcoming Ty for his first cut with us! Tyler isn’t just a Tennessee Vol, he’s a homegrown East Tennessee talent from Tazewell, TN. 🍊⚾️

And if you know baseball… you know this guy can absolutely hit for power. 🔥

At Walters State, Tyler put together a legendary season, earning 2025 NJCAA Player of the Year honors AND the Triple Crown, while posting a jaw-dropping .484 average with 31 homers and 110 RBIs 💣😳

He then made his way to Rocky Top and continued making noise, finishing his first D1 season with a .247 average, .801 OPS, and 3 home runs, including a monster 434-foot walk-off blast vs. Kent State that lit up Lindsey Nelson Stadium! 🔥

We love seeing East Tennessee guys bring that kind of energy to the Vols. 🍊

The Fatheads family is growing, and we’ve got a lot of new faces around here! So this week, we’re taking some time to introduce you to the crew behind the chairs,starting with our owner, Tank. 💈

Tank is more than just the owner of Fatheads. He’s a master barber, a leader, and the vision behind a shop built on community, opportunity, and family.

From giving back to our community to creating opportunities for young people, Tank continues to push Fatheads to be more than just a barbershop.

And of course… you’ll still find him behind the chair putting in the work. 💈🔥

Our Young Entrepreneur Event was already a day full of fun, but Spider-Man showing up took it to another level! 🕷️ 💈

There was a strategy behind our Young Entrepreneur Market.

We didn’t just want the kids to sell their products, we wanted them to experience entrepreneurship firsthand.

8 young entrepreneurs got the opportunity to be interviewed on the news, practice marketing their businesses, speak about their products, and build confidence. 🎤📣

We didn’t just create a vendor event. We created an experience.

When your young entrepreneurs start making artwork of you… you know you’re doing something right. 😂

Jazzy, an 11 year old, from our Young Entrepreneur Event and news segment with WBIR Channel 10 surprised Tank with this awesome cartoon drawing she made of him, and we absolutely love it!

We can’t wait to get this masterpiece hung up in the shop. It’s a perfect reminder of the creativity, confidence, and connections that came from such a special day!

Thank you, Jazzy, for making all of us smile and for adding a little more personality to the Fatheads walls. It is Monday and we are open 1-5pm 💈 Walk-ins welcome 🔥
