Part 1: One of the biggest lessons I learned when growing my handmade business was just starting. If I would have waited to be ready I’d still be waiting!
I was about a year in when my business unexpectedly blew up from one listing on Etsy & at the time I was still teaching myself to sew. Talk about stress! I definitely had a full blown panic attack and cried, A LOT!
But I pulled it off and during the journey my skills got better & I learned so much about business & myself!
The lesson is don’t wait until you’re ready. You will never be ready! Just make it exist first, you can make it good later.
My business grew & grew and I could talk about the journey AND the regrets / mistakes for days! Etsy & my sales there were just part of it. If this is your thing, if you’ve been there, if you’re trying to get there stay tuned for part 2 it gets good!
