It’s been a while since I’ve made quilts. This winter the Art Council asked me to make a piece for their annual auction. I had a dyed piece that fit the Starry Night theme. Island reflections was the result. I had such a good time working again that I pulled out Octopus Garden and finished it. Over the course of the summer, I’ve completed three more pieces. Floating in the Stream, Round Raven, and Fireweed Summer. Round Raven is the only one that is not sold. I’ve got two more pieces pinned and ready to quilt, and I’ve dyed several pieces of fabric that will become quilts eventually. I had forgotten how much I love the process! dyed supportlocalartists

New things for Friday’s driveway popup! Xl skirt-only one. Loving the new reverse dyes. Gap shirts. Tom forgot the out white brite in Fairbanks so I delved into bleach reverse dyes and I’m not sad! And lots of kid long sleeve shirts and onesies for Fall. 3371 Spruce Cape Road, Friday, 4-7.
