Let me address the $5-$8 pricing change and announcement from yesterday.
I was not going to say anything because for me, I’ve been waiting for this for YEARS! I have spoken about it for YEARS!
Yes, we have been known as the “$5 Jewelry Company” for over 15 years. I’ve always been proud of the fact that we have value pricing and I’ve NEVER felt awkward about inviting anyone to purchase my product. For years I have constantly commented on how much better the quality and designs have gotten and I had no idea how they were able to produce this level of product for this price point. Even with the price increase I fully believe in the value of our product!
Over the last 15 years our 4 founders have FOUGHT to keep our prices the same, the designs flowing DAILY. During Covid there wasn’t a single day we didn’t have new designs and the ability to continue working from home and providing for our families. I watched as many companies in our industry shut down permanently due to the pandemic. I watched prices explode and shed many tears that ours never did, even though I expected it.
The last 4 years we have seen inflation climb, costs climb, prices climb and yet MOST companies have resigned to “shrink-flation”, not Paparazzi, our products keep getting better and better! I’ve been expecting this day to come as I’ve literally shopped almost daily in stores and seen the prices change.
There is not a single company in the world that has the same prices today that they did 15 years ago! Is it a change? Yes! Is it worth it, HELL YES! The quality is there, just look around stores like Target or your favorite clothing store at the jewelry they offer!
The last 6 months I’ve watched retail companies, direct sales & network marketing companies close their doors. I THANK our 4 amazing founders for their blood, sweat and tears these last 15 years and especially the last 5 years! You have fought for us and we have been blessed because of your sacrifice!
I’ve decided that I’m staying! I’m going NOWHERE. I’m ALL IN and I’m changing my focus. We have an amazing community of incredible people! We have a company, product, team, system and structure that I fully believe in! And I plan to get back to how things used to be.
To all of my customers…..I promise you it’s worth the increase, I promise I’m gonna show up! We’re gonna hang out like old times and talk and laugh.
