One last night celebrating our 3rd Annual Bartlemas Wayzgoose: today is St. Bartholomew’s Day, Monday August 24 (the proper day for a Wayzgoose) and we’re celebrating one last time at the shop this evening from 5 to 9 PM. We’ll brew Horn & Hardart Automat Decaf, just in case you think it’s too late for high-test coffee, to go with our homemade pizzelli cookies.

It all begins on Saturday! Our Third Annual Bartlemas Wayzgoose at Convivio Bookworks begins then and continues all weekend, 11 AM to 4 PM both Saturday & Sunday, and also on Monday, which is St. Bartholomew’s Day (the traditional day for a Wayzgoose); it’s our first ever Monday evening opening, from 5 to 9 PM. Come celebrate with us. Much bookish fun to be had!

Our Third Annual Bartlemas Wayzgoose at Convivio Bookworks begins Saturday! It continues all weekend, 11 AM to 4 PM both Saturday & Sunday, and also on Monday, which is St. Bartholomew’s Day (the traditional day for a Wayzgoose); it’s our first ever Monday evening opening, from 5 to 9 PM. August 11: The Sun and Sirius, the Dog Star, part ways for another year. They’ve been rising together each day since the Third of July, and now that their rising partnership ends, so end, officially, the Dog Days of Summer. This doesn’t mean it’ll get cooler any time soon… but we’re not far from fall!
