I didn’t grow up in a big city. I grew up in farm country. 🌾

My hometown had about 2,200 people, and my graduating class was only 86. My grandparents farmed, and my summers were spent walking beans, detassling corn, and being surrounded by the kind of community where everyone waved when they drove by.

We never raised livestock ourselves, but cows were everywhere — part of the landscape, part of the rhythm of life. And even now, some of my closest friends still raise cows for organic milk production.

So when I found this coin with a cow on it, it instantly took me back. Back to gravel roads, humid summer evenings, county fairs, and the people who taught me what hard work really looks like.

That’s what I love most about these coins. Sometimes they aren’t just jewelry. Sometimes they feel like home. 🤍🐄

This piece is for the farm girls, the dairy girls, the women up before sunrise caring for these incredible animals every single day. The ones with strong hands, soft hearts, and boots by the door.
