I acquired a new skill today: sewing a recessed zipper in a tote-style purse. Unfortunately, I think the added time would be cost prohibitive to making this a regular product. Time to try it with a regular zipper straight across the top. Still, I enjoyed the process of learning and experimenting with this skill!

Opinion question: Does this quilted tote-style purse need a snap in the middle or not? If size factors into your decision, it's 9.5"x6.5"x2.5"

Yesterday evening in Wilmington was fantastic until we got hit by a nasty thunderstorm. Today, I'm out at the amphitheater in Lexington, NC. Good weather so far! If you haven't seen the new line of embroidered kitchen towels, check them out!
