Traditionally, the Montessori movable alphabet have the consonants in blue and vowels in red (or vice versa). It allows the child to learn how to read, write and spell at their own pace, even if it comes before the motor skills of holding a pencil do.

This color scheme is a nod to Maria Montessori and all she has done for the little brains of the world 🌎 ❤️

First thing first was a stop to to refresh the shelves! I added some keychains 🚘, large coasters great for both glasses and under plants 🪴 and the cutest forever fish you ever did see! 🐟

I will get busy with all things hearts and love for Valentines! Look for felt conversation hearts, roses and heart garland soon! ♥️
