I’ve had people ask, “Why would you want to be a wedding coordinator? That has to be stressful!” I say….I get to witness love and happiness, on this biggest most beautiful day of a couples lives, I get to witness the dad seeing his baby girl in a wedding dress, I get to see that mom pin on the boutonnière of her handsome son on his wedding day, I get to be the calm to the bride feeling overwhelmed, i get to shed a tear with the mom who’s missing her other child watching from heaven that is so dearly missed on this special day, I get to help my brides put their vision to life and watch her beam when she walks into that reception hall, just her and I and she tears up saying you nailed it, you knew exactly what I wanted! I get to meet so many new people, new couples that feel like family by the wedding day, guests that make you feel like family because well, they are Italian and that’s what they do! I get to work with the other chosen team of vendors on the wedding day, I get to put out the “wedding day fires” if they should arise, I get to give the groom a hug whose mom isn’t there to share his special day, I get to help the moms too. They are going through totally different emotions on that day, I know because I’ve been that Mother of the Groom too, and sometimes they need a hug too. I get to fluff that beautiful dress just as the bride is taking her dads arm to walk down that aisle to her best friend, I get to remind her to take a moment and look around and take this all in before she walks, sometimes I get to marry the couple and be the first to call them husband and wife, I get to hug my couple goodbye and they tell me that they appreciate my work into making their day just as they wanted, Sometimes I get that day after thank you text from the bride that warms my heart. I get to come home and enjoy my cupcake, after all the lights and dance music reflecting on the day I just witnessed and feel good about myself, that I helped a couples dream day come true, that I brightened the corner where I was and what I got to witness. I get to do all of these things and more because I get to be a wedding coordinator! It is an honor always and I love what I do!!! Getting married? Someone you love getting married? I’d love to help! Sometimes life has curveballs and what you were planning on a certain date ends up looking a little different on that date. But, you still get married to your best friend surrounded by so much family love in the backyard on that date! I was originally their coordinator and florist. Today I got to pronounce them husband and wife! They will celebrate accordingly with the original plan soon. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Watson!

It was a beautiful day at The Riser Barn in Kingston. It is always an honor to be chosen and trusted as a coordinator and more of an honor to get to pronounce them as husband and wife! Best wishes Mr and Mrs Davis!!!!!

Evening weddings at Ash Cave are beautiful! This evening I had the honor to pronounce the new Mr & Mrs Garman as husband and wife! Congratulations to you both!!! And thank you for choosing me to officiate your special day!
