It’s been great year so far with touring and shows but nothing will top being a part of the team serving as the artist director for the district sounds festival at ! A lot of time and effort went into making this effort come to life and I wanna thank the team for trusting me with the vision and letting me execute the best way I know how!!! Thanks to all our sponsors as well and a special shout out to Adam Levin and for always talking my call and always saying yes no matter how big of an ask I come with! Looking forward to a great festival and a great time with all the performers who are playing this year!!! It’s not too late to cop tickets !!!!

So honored to work with and this past weekend to perform@s rendition of the national anthem for game versus the Eagles! When Wayna asked me a few months ago I was super excited to get the opportunity to do an arrangement on the song for bass and vocals! She gave me a bit of inspiration for the direction and I also tapped the legendary performance by DC legend Marvin Gaye for the vibe!

After fleshing out the general idea with the help of , I came up with the idea that I presented to Wayna at our first rehearsal! And after a few tweaks and all because of the time restrictions, we were confident we had something that would pay homage while also giving the song a different take! And I must say, hearing it on this playback made it all come together like I saw in my head!

S/o to all those that played a part in it as well! for always picking up and giving advice! & the homie for assisting with pedals because some of mine are still in Europe lol! S/o to the production team for the Commanders as well (Darius and Marla!), the flight team coordinator, everyone that said “Ohhhhh” in the stadium, and everyone that had a kind word after the performance! Will cherish this as one of the highlights of my musical career so far!

Proud moment to call my dad and say, “You see the pic of me on the Jumbotron???” And he said “Yeah!”
