Always feeling crafty and looking for new things to make, my foster kittens got spayed and neutered so I made them leotards that cover the surgical spots so they can’t lick them. So much better than the cone of shame! They’re lightweight and breathable (made from nylons, which are hard to find these days!) They can move freely and there’s an opening in the backside so they can still go to the bathroom with them on. Bonus: they’re even cuter with them on!

Save your kitten from the cone of shame. Cut some holes in a nylon or lightweight sock and save them from the embarrassment! They’ll love you even more.

A new school year. A new apartment. Another daughter whose mailbox needed to be replaced. Mama to the rescue with this adorable mid century makeover. So many fun colors with depth and dimension. I’m loving it!

And just like that, summer is over! Mine was filled with so many things I love… Having one of my kids back home, celebrating the other kid’s 21st birthday in Vegas, a road trip to take in a few National Parks, countless BBQs, getting another foster kitten adopted…. I even got to make a trip over the pond with my brother and sister! I got some yellowfreckle projects in there too but now it’s time to hunker down and get into Fall mode. Christmas will be here before we know it!

Had a quick stopover in Vegas to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. Of course I had to make a keepsake and naturally it was a shot glass.
My favorite part of any project is the design. I love the hidden details… IYKYK! The more I know about a client and project, the more I can use these small details in the design. THIS is the fun part!

It’s been a busy week. Sometimes I have to look back on my camera roll to remind myself of all the cool things I get to make. The weeks never look the same. So grateful for all the people that ask me to make their treasures! 💛
