I went stone shopping last week and picked up some beautiful strands, as well as some metals. Love the art beads and resin pendant. And I can’t wait to design something for these amazing clasps from Beadology Iowa. If anything strikes your fancy, let me know. I love to do custom work.

My father brought these Vietnamese beggar beads home from Vietnam when he served there in the late 60s. They’ve been sitting in my drawer for years and years because they were just too long and heavy to wear. Today I restrung them and was able to create two necklaces from the one long original strand.

Do you have some pieces that need a little transformation?

The photo on the left is from a long necklace of Vietnamese Beggar Beads. They were heavy to wear and the red threads on the spacers beads were worn and frayed. They were restrung with gold spacer beads and a shorter length for an updated look.
