Greetings everyone! Fall festival season has kicked off. There’s no way we could get the inventory at this point for a show like The Kansas City Renaissance Festival… but for those of you who have asked I love you dearly for it!

Never fear we’re still working inventory and gaining connections and ideas - and plan on being set up at Topeka Renaissance festival in October.

In the meantime come hunt down Ava at North Tortuga Trading Company, or spot my mini-me at the gate!

Thanks to our Juki Carina, and or new serger Karen we have ourselves a bodice front! Repurposed beautiful silver and black brocade curtains. I don’t know that I would have hung them on my windows but this is a going to be a stunning piece! Hoping to make a whole court costume… we shall see!

Hey guys! I hope everyone is holding up in that summer heat ok!

We’re a little over 3 months out from our next show and I’m actually going to have to buy additional storage totes for all of our great finds so far.

We landed a great deal on some wool fabric blends and I’m planning on making some cloaks for the October show (watch it end up being crazy hot 🤦🏼‍♀️). We’re planning on trying our hands at crafting some more fun items as well, on top of our finds. I’ll post pictures as we create!

If you celebrate the day “Happy Independence Day!”!

If you like fireworks may you find the prettiest fireworks 🎇 to view! (Mind your fingers and toes… we’re working on fingerless gloves for fall… but that’s not what we mean!)

If the loud noises bother yourself or your fur babies we hope you can find a safe haven!

Like most federally observed holidays we take the opportunity when everyone is off to enjoy time with friends and family. A good meal, great company… and maybe a bit of frivolity.

We’ll be in touch again soon! Looking forward to seeing everyone again in the fall for more festival fun!

You all would have seen my daughter lending a hand at the shop this weekend and I want to extend a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation to her! I've shared with many of you how my vision for Ren Thrift was to create opportunities for incredible experiences for you, just like the ones I've treasured over the years. My daughter has been a constant companion at festivals since birth, and we've forged unforgettable memories together. She's turned my dream into our reality by being an integral part of Ren Thrift every step of the way, and I hope she'll continue to be involved for many years to come. I'm absolutely beaming with pride over the remarkable young woman she's evolving into!
