Stay hydrated the historical way and beat the heat with fruit shrubs. These concentrates were used to preserve the flavor and nutrition of fruits all year round. Dilute them with water for all of their benefits and beat the unseasonable heat.

One of our new additions this year is the linen pocket apron. We started researching these and once you see one, they start popping up everywhere. Very much a working woman's garment, this is an underrepresented part of historic dress in the 18th century. To start your research, there is a lovely collection by 18th Century Notebook: https://www.18thcenturynotebook.com/pocket-aprons

*** WARNING ****

There are currently two known fraudulent websites impersonating Samson Historical. These sites are using our photographs, branding, and other content to deceive customers into believing they are legitimate Samson Historical websites.

Unfortunately, since June and throughout July, the domain registar, Dynadot and the webhost, Cloudflare have both ignored our repediated DMCA takedown notices and reports of scam.

Sadly, we now believe customers have attempted to, or did make purchases on these scam sites believing it was our websites. This had lead to negative reviews even on review sites, because we appartly have not shipped or responded. That is not the case.

Unfortunately, we now believe some customers have attempted to—or have successfully—placed orders through these scam websites, believing they were purchasing from us. This has even resulted in negative reviews claiming that “we” failed to ship orders or respond to inquiries. Those purchases were not made with Samson Historical, and we have no access to those transactions or customer information.

Do NOT purchase from or use these websites:

* https://samsonhistoricalhq.shop/
* https://samsonhistoricalstyle.shop/

We have reported these fraudulent websites to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3.gov) and will continue pursuing every available avenue to have them removed.

If any of our customers have contacts at Cloudflare or Dynadot who may be able to assist in getting these scam websites taken offline, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

In the meantime, please help us protect others by sharing this warning. These websites are not affiliated with Samson Historical in any way.
