We are still soaking it all in. 🌱

Attending the James Beard Foundation Awards was an incredible honor, but what means the most is sharing this moment with our farm family: the team, guests, friends, and community who have believed in what we're building here from the beginning.

We're overwhelmed by the love, messages, and support you've shared over the past week.
Thank you. This recognition belongs to all of you.

Many of you have asked about visiting the farm. We're working on releasing more dates and experiences soon, as the calendar quickly filled up. In the meantime, join our farm friends newsletter and waitlist to be the first to know when new availability is announced. We have our volunteer form live on the website for those interested, as well as several upcoming public community events.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

What began as a dream rooted in soil, animals, community, and a belief that food could tell a story has grown into something we never could have imagined.

Tomorrow, our entire farm team leaves for Chicago to represent Montgomery Sky Farm on one of the nation's biggest culinary stages with two James Beard Award nominations including What the Soil Remembers & Undercurrent Film Company.

There are no words for the gratitude we feel.

Field & Creek Market will be open tomorrow from 10 AM–2 PM and closed on Sunday.

For those who would like to follow along, we'll be sharing our journey throughout the weekend right here on Instagram. The awards ceremony will also be livestreamed through James Beard Foundation & bonappetitmag

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for carrying this dream with us. We are honored to represent our farm, our animals, our community, and Western North Carolina.

Chicago, here we come. ❤️

A seed was planted ten years ago.

It is the greatest honor and privilege to steward this land and share its mission with so many. What began as a small passion project has become something far bigger than us- a community, a purpose, and a testament to what can happen when people believe in the same vision.

Thank you, , , for this beautiful article and for your support. Thank you to our incredible team, whose hands, hearts, and dedication make this work possible every single day.

The farm team heads to Chicago this weekend to represent Western NC as best Chef Southeast & .soil.remembers media nomination at the awards. The honor of a lifetime.

The soil remembers. Today, and everyday, so do we.

Two dishes, but they tell a much bigger story. ❤️

Everything we serve at Montgomery Sky Farm starts long before it reaches the plate. It starts with the seed. With the work of protecting biodiversity, growing heirloom and endangered varieties, and caring for the land in a way that gives back more than it takes. 🌱

Seasonality leads the way here. Elements on your plate harvested just hours before dinner. It doesn’t get much closer than that.

The salmon tart brings together cured salmon, second year asparagus, fern leaf dill, ever bearing snap peas, and pickled shallot.

The white seabass is paired with chicory, burnet salad, and basil sprouts, all grown right here on the farm. The hojo spinach in this dish has a story of its own. It was shared with Chef Taylor through and has been saved and passed down for over 45 years.

This is the kind of food we care about. Thoughtful, rooted, and deeply connected to the land.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Awakening Dinner Series. Each evening was a reminder of why we do what we do. Sharing our farm, our table, and our mission with you is something we will never take for granted. ❤️

Montgomery Sky Farm is more than just a place. It is a space rooted in connection, intention, and a deep respect for the land and everything it provides.

It would not be what it is without your support, your presence, and your belief in what we are building here. We are so grateful to have you as part of this community!

We still have a few seats open for our July and August dinners. Head to our website so see all of our availability. We can’t wait to welcome you to our table! 😊

Some evenings feed you, others become part of you.

We are honored to gather in celebration of The Soil Remembers, a deeply moving short film by James Beard Media Award winner .o of

A story rooted in land, memory, and the quiet power of connection at Montgomery Sky Farm.

Join us at Zen Greenville on Friday, June 6th at 6:00pm, for a cinematic dining experience wrapped in a love letter to a city that has uplifted and inspired us for many years.

The evening will unfold through a thoughtfully curated 5-course tasting menu by 2026 James Beard Best Chef Southeast Finalist, Taylor Montgomery. Each dish echoing the same intention as the film itself: to honor where we come from, and the stories that shape us.

This is a night for those who believe in storytelling through both lens and plate. A night to slow down, to gather, and to remember.

Seats are limited. Tickets available at the link in our bio.
