I had a bad feeling each time I bought my seed orders and dahlias last winter, getting everything ready for the spring.
I wondered what that feeling really meant. Because I knew, and still know, that the flower farm is the right track for me.
Then came a 100-year flood. 🤯
It wiped out the property. And with it, all those plans, preparations, and the investment I had made for the whole season.
The feeling wasn’t telling me I was on the wrong path.
It was telling me I was in the wrong place.
And this has not slowed me down in the slightest.
If anything, it has made me more determined to rebuild, rethink, and find new possibilities.
Because sometimes moving forward means thinking outside the box, changing the plan, and finding a new way to grow. 🌱 Thank you for rooting for me and my garden. I will miss my Tates Creek folks but I’m only 3 miles down the road now!
