Erin Waller is the Executive Director and founding member of the Village Guild. She is also an established local artisan, and creator of Dumb Luck & Witchcraft.

Erin is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the Village Guild, and the continual growth of our community of creatives. Her vision for an inclusive, art-centered, supportive network originates from her passion to serve the vendor community she’s been blessed to work alongside.

Here’s what Erin has to say about her mission:

“The Village Guild is my love letter to the creative community. For three years, I’ve had the opportunity to vend alongside some of the most inspiringly dedicated and compassionate entrepreneurs the Heartland has to offer, and it has changed my life.

The Village Guild was established through the universal disappointment and challenges our vendor community experienced with poorly-run local markets where vendors were an afterthought. Our events, our organization, and our leadership are different because we hold our community at the heart of everything we do.

As our collective continues to grow, I am humbled by how this mission resonates among artisans, and that our events continue to be regarded as a safe harbor for artists. I’m perpetually inspired by our administrative team's work in furthering our vision, and I promise to continually strive to serve our community of collaborators with this mission at the heart of everything I do.

It takes a Village to grow a community. I’m so grateful that we’ve found ours.”
