The Ligonier Valley Farmers Market returns Saturday, August 29 from 9–1, and this one is a late-summer celebration. 🍅🥒🌽

The gardens are giving.
The harvests are being hauled in.
The artists are creating.
The bakers are baking.
And our farmers and small businesses are bringing their very best to the Loyalhanna Watershed field and Thistledown at Seger House ☀️

Come fill your basket.
Come stock the pantry.
Come find something you didn’t know you needed.

For the past two months, Eve and WALL-E—our two freeze dryers have been humming nonstop. Trays in, trays out, washing, packaging, labeling… repeat.

This morning? Silence. Coffee on the porch, birds chirping, clear skies, and everything finally feels calm again. ❤️

We’ll fire Eve and WALL-E back up soon for Fort Ligonier Days Inc. in October, but for now we’re stocked! I’m also making a delivery to O’Shea’s, so if there’s something you want or a store you’d love to see Starlight Krunch in send us a message! 🚀✨

This weekend definitely showed us what everyone was reaching for.

Out of nearly 35 selections, the biggest hits were our Area 51 Alien Buckets, Variety Packs, Nerds, freeze-dried bananas, and Rocket Blasts which completely sold out! 🚀

Thank you so much for supporting our little business. It truly means more than you know. 💕 And you also don’t have to wait for an event! Scan the QR code on our bags or message me directly to order. We can ship, arrange pickup in Ligonier, and possibly deliver locally. We also have online ordering through Square while we work on a ordering platform.

Day ✌️ at the Great American Banana Split Celebration 🍌🚀

It took us about a hour to get Starlight Krunch mission control back up and running, but WE ARE READY FOR BUSINESS! 💕✨

Even better..the rain is supposed to behave itself today. We’re choosing to believe that. 😂

We’re excited for another fun day and hoping to see lots of familiar faces…and meet a few new ones too!

🚀 DAY TWO — WE’RE READY! 🍌✨

The candy survived. We survived. And apparently that means we’re doing it again. 😂 We also learned from yesterday to pack lighter today… only 6 totes. 😂Look at us being all reasonable and responsible.

Rain or shine, Starlight Krunch will be there and ready for a great day at the Great American Banana Festival.

We’re just hoping the wind got the memo that it was NOT invited back. 😂 Come find us, grab some freeze-dried goodies, and let’s make Day Two a good one! 💫🍬

Starlight Krunch survived Day One of the Great American Banana Split Celebration. 🚀🍌😂

There was wind. There was rain. There was chaos at the end. And at one point our 10x20 pink tent was about three seconds away from entering orbit….or Kansas.

But through it all, SO many of you stopped by, supported our sweet cosmic candy business, grabbed some Krunch, and made the day worth every crazy minute. ❤️

A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers of the Great American Banana Split Celebration for helping jumping in whenever we needed something. You guys were absolute stars. ⭐

We’ve regrouped, reduced the cargo, and Mission Control says we are cleared for launch again tomorrow.

Same cosmic Krunch. Same pink tent. Hopefully less atmospheric turbulence. 😂🚀🍬

And we’re OFF! 🍌🚚

To the Great American Banana Split Celebration, here we come!

The day started at 5:30 this morning, and we managed to get 26 boxes loaded between two trucks, plus tables, tents, displays, and everything else we apparently need. 😂

Tip of the day: Next year, I’m renting a U-Haul.

And yes… I’m a little sentimental over our precious cargo. I know it’s “just candy,” but this has been months, days, and hours of shopping, cutting, freeze-drying, labeling, packaging, sealing, and making sure everything was just right.

And now we’re releasing our little candy children into the public. 😂🍬

It’s a beautiful day, and we’re ready to go. Come see us at and help give some of our precious cargo a new home! 🍌✨🚀
