Fall lessons are approaching quickly. If you were expecting an email from me and never got one please let me know asap.

For new folks interested in lessons, I have a waitlist but with a lot of kids in and out of activities, I may get to you sooner than later. I am taking new DAYTIME students and appreciate the referrals.

Reminder: lessons begin the week of Sept 14. See you all soon!

What an amazing day at the Lisbon Opera House! We had 28 students perform today and had a nearly TWO-hour recital. Thank you for giving your children the gift of music and for getting your kids to lessons every week. I have the coolest job in the world because of your support.

I’m still waiting on a couple donations, but it looks like we are going to blow past $800 raised during today’s recital! THANK YOU. In the last two weeks by performing around the community (Senior Center, TLC/WELCA and Today’s Recital), we have raised over $1500. This money goes to the Rondo’s Opus Music and Mental Health Scholarship Fund. I’ll be at LHS this Wednesday handing out more scholarships. I look forward to this day every year!

Lastly, if you yourself are in a position where you can help my business or scholarship, please consider the good I am doing in the name of these two things to better our community.

It's that time of year again! I am looking for Lisbon High School scholarship applicants for our Rondo's Opus scholarship. If you are going to further your education this fall in music (teaching, recording or performance), psychology, counseling or any area of mental health, we want to help you pay for school!

All I need is a one-pager on the importance music has on our mental health and bonus points for what we can do to help end the mental health stigma in rural communities.

An emotional weekend to say the least. I’m really proud of what I built here. It sure hit me as I was moving my things out today. Over three years in this room where I taught thousands of lessons to the greatest students I could ask for.

Please know that Rondo’s Opus is NOT closing. My store is closed but I can still find you the perfect guitar, change your strings and teach you how to play. Send me a message if you would like to get on my waitlist. Thank you for your support!
