Being a baker isn't for the faint of heart.
Most days, I'm baking from the time my feet hit the floor until the time I finally crawl back into bed. And yes... I'm managing all of this with one oven and one set of hands. ๐
While everyone else is winding down for the evening, I'm still mixing dough, shaping loaves, rolling cookies, decorating, packaging orders, labeling products, washing dishes, answering messages, planning the next day's bakes, making grocery runs, and getting everything ready to do it all over again.
There are long days, sore feet, tired hands, flour everywhere, and dishes that seem to multiply on their own. There are recipes that don't always cooperate and days where I wonder if I can keep up.
But then I see someone smile after that first bite. I read your kind messages. I see you come back week after week. That's what reminds me why I keep going.
This isn't just baking to me. It's building a dream.
My husband believes in this dream just as much as I do. He sees the hours that no one else sees. He sees the early mornings, the late nights, and everything that happens behind the scenes. There have been times I've looked at him and said, "Maybe I just need to go back to work." But he reminds me to keep going because he believes in me, even on the days I'm doubting myself.
And then there's Amanda. She jumps in and puts in long hours whenever she can, even though she doesn't have to. She believes in what we're building, and because of that, this is becoming **our** dream... one bake at a time.
To everyone who has ordered, shared a post, left a review, encouraged me, or simply believed in Dana's Krafty Kreations... thank you. You're helping build something that's bigger than bread, cookies, or cinnamon rolls. You're helping build a dream.
Now... if you'll excuse me, this baker still has work to do... because tomorrow's products don't make themselves. ๐
