❤️ TODAY, I’M JUST MOM. ❤️

No careers. No businesses. No titles. Just two single mothers proud of the young people we’re raising. 🥹

A few weeks ago, my son sat me down and said, “Mom, I need to have a conversation with you.” Then he said, “I put this on Pawpaw.”

If you know me, you KNOW what that means. I will forever be my daddy’s girl, and although my father is no longer here, my son knows how sacred Pawpaw is to me. So I immediately knew this was serious. ❤️

He told me there was a young lady he genuinely respected and cared about, and he wanted to ask her properly to be his girlfriend. Not through a text. He wanted her to feel special.

And this mama’s heart MELTED. 🥹❤️

He started planning weeks ago, and once Nichelle and I were brought in, the village went to WORK! 😂 We cooked, decorated, created and coordinated. Coach was our undercover MVP getting her out of the house while we prepared the surprise. Her family joined in, and of course my girls were on FaceTime because those sisters ride HARD for their brother! 😂❤️

Nichelle has raised an intelligent, respectful, beautiful young lady who excels in school, takes honors classes and dances. And I’ve worked hard to raise my son, surrounded by his mother and sisters, to understand how a young woman deserves to be respected.

Somewhere along the way, our children brought us together too. Nichelle and I bonded like sisters, Coach and I connected through our Midwest roots, and suddenly this beautiful new village just FIT. ❤️

Two mothers. Two amazing kids. One beautiful new family.

And Nichelle & Coach… y’all are stuck with us now! 😂

❤️ My heart is so full. ❤️

Watching my son grow in his faith has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

NYC 2026 has been so much more than a trip—it’s been life-changing. Seeing Keiden worship, build lasting friendships, and put God first reminds me that every prayer I’ve prayed has been worth it.
