Story time: I bought this harness leather headstall about 10 years ago, long before I made tack, and it has always managed to stay in rotation as a go-to snaffle bridle. You can’t beat the durability of luscious harness leather. It was absolutely black with sweat and grime, but a little Murphy soap and a stiff bristle brush have literally taken off years of build-up. Now it’s ready for a new coat of warm oil and it’ll be back in action!

Murphy soap is great for cleaning your tack, and just about anything else as well, but as always, spot clean on a small area first to make sure you don’t ruin something!

All I’m saying is that the pictures don’t do this belt any justice whatsoever and, selfishly, I am so thrilled that it’s for me. 🤣

But I will happily make you a Fields of Flowers belt or headstall of your very own! 😊
