Understanding Jewellery by David Bennett and Daniela Mascetti is almost 500 pages long… so it’s honestly a great value for your money.

I especially enjoy the chapter on popular gemstones, which explores their characteristics and inclusions. The book leans more toward European jewelry than American jewelry... which the British spelling in the title hints at 😜... It’s especially useful for learning about European styles and jewelry history.
