Looking for someone to help me in my woodshop. We create wooden furniture and ship all across the country. Ideal candidate would be passionate about working with their hands and making sure the things they make are quality creations. Prior woodworking experience would be great, but you will at least need to have some basic knowledge of working with wood. You must know how to read a tape measure!

A walnut and mystery wood filing cabinet ready to go.
Seriously I need some hardcore wood nerds to tell me what kind of wood this is. I found it at a city dump in a big 6x12. We have several shipyards down here and they throw away tons of wood every year. I try to use as much as I can.

In hindsight maybe 3 full sized dressers at a one time was a bit much for my shop. In my defense these orders all came in withing 2 days of each other so that's how the schedule works out sometimes.
These turned out great though and I will be sad to see them go in a few days, but I will enjoy getting my shop back!

I'm about to change my name from Guice Woodworks to Guice drawer works. Just test fitting all the drawer fronts on 3 dressers. Now to make the 19 solid wood drawers.
