very first model, the Porsche 2.2L Turbo that raced at LM in 1974 was reworked as a kit into the “00” car that raced at Daytona in 1977. Like the real car, de-Martini’d with hastily applied flat black paint and a reworked front airdam resulted in a car that was memorable in its strangeness.
