This morning I received a very nice email from customer Michio M. from Chicago, telling me about his new El Dorado "Original Plain" model guitar strap. Michio gave his approval to share his email with the El Dorado Community. Here it is (& thanks very much, Michio):
I recently acquired a new Epiphone Casino, an electric guitar that I’ve coveted for some time now. Given my long-standing affinity for this particular model, I felt the need to outfit it with a high-quality leather strap. In the 20+ years I’ve been playing guitar, I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $20 on a guitar strap. But after browsing the leather-strap offerings at various guitar stores, I came away very unimpressed.
I’ve always been a huge Oasis fan and have always admired, from afar, Noel Gallagher’s unique “western style” hand-tooled leather guitar straps with the big shiny buckles. I imagined that these straps must be custom-made for Noel. But a quick internet search brought me to the El Dorado website, and I happily realized that I, too, could own one of these beautiful straps.
In the end, I decided on purchasing an “Original Plain” model in black from your website. When my order arrived a few days later, I must tell you that I was beyond impressed with the strap’s clearly evident craftsmanship and quality of materials. Simply put, it’s stunning, and I have no doubt that it will last a lifetime. Also, I was quite impressed when I found a hand-signed, personalized letter in the package. I mean, who does that anymore?
I hope this little note conveys my appreciation for your product and customer service, and I can’t wait to purchase another one the next time I add a new guitar to my collection.
