Wildlife photographer Terje Kolaas is flexing his creativity in the icy winter waters of Trondheimfjord. Terje placed a Canon R5II + RF 15-35mm f2.8 lens just beneath the surface to capture Common Eiders moving between two worlds, above and below the water surface. Terje is using the Outex waterproof camera housing system. In this case the Camera Pro + Tripod Add On Accesory to mount the camera in the desired underwater spot. He’s using a remote pocket wizard trigger as well.

We’re so inspired by “Immerse,” an award winning short documentary filmed using Outex gear that tells the powerful story of Norma MacLeod, a cardiac nurse who was diagnosed with cancer and found strength through her love of ocean swimming. 🏊‍♀️💪

The film captures Norma’s emotional journey on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. Facing uncertainty, embracing the healing power of the sea, and using swimming as a coping mechanism throughout her treatment. It’s a story about resilience, purpose, and connection.

“Immerse” has been recognized at multiple film festivals, including Best Cinematography at the Little Wing Film Festival 2022, and featured in leading publications.
